Hey peeps, I'm back from KL. We were eating almost every hour cos the food there was soo nice. I think i put back on the weight which i lost during my 1.5 mths in France within 3 days. Haiz. Imagine spending bout RM 200+ on food for 3 days ... In the end did not shop much cos the summer sale in Msia hasn't started yet. I've also broken my record. During the 3 days there, I've only taken 41 pics!!! Next time must take more photos. 41 pics only?? How can??

On another note, i'll be changing my blogskin soon cause YM has kindly offered to help me scource for a nice blogskin after complaining for soo long tt my blog is too PINK. Wats wrong with pink???

I'll be leaving for KL on thurs morn n will back on Sat eve. Think my dad isn't too happy tt i'm going for this trip mainly cause i jus came back after 1.5 mnths in France and cause i jus recovered from my flu. ;p ... But too bad ... I've already booked and paid for the coach and the hotel le ... So there is also nothing he can do ... I feel so bad ;p

Caught the WC finals last night. Italy won. But i think France also did a great job getting into the finals. What i don understand is WHY Zidane headbutted tt Italian??? I read from somewhere tt i was cause of some racial slur tt the italian defender said. Tt was soo wasteful for Zidane since this was supposed to be his final game of his career and i think it is also the cause for France to lose the WC. Haiz. Wat some ppl will do in a moment of folly. But no matter wat, i still think tt he is cute. Hee.

Hi peeps, I'm finally back home in sunny n very very hot singapore. I am now very very jetlagged and very confused bout the time diff. London is 7hrs behind Sing, Paris is 6 and Dubai is 4. Been back since 0110h on the 4th after a very very long flight from Paris bout 20 hrs. Boarded the plane on the 2nd but only reached on the 4th?? Where did the 3rd go to?? The plane transited at Dubai n we almost missed the connecting flight back to Singapore cos we were at one end of the terminal (Gate 9) and the boarding gate was at the other end (Gate 40) and the call for final boarding came only minutes after they started boarding and we could not find our flight on any of the screens. Think it was because they had alot of outgoing flights in the morning n there wasn't enough space ba. Anyway ppl heard tt the boarding gate was 9, some heard 14 n others heard 40. So we had to run from one gate to the other n sway sway it was at gate 40 so the 12 of us chionged all the way to the other end of the terminal. Luckily we made it in time b4 the gate closed. But guess wat the plane still took off late. Emirates is well known for its late departures. All the flights tt i took there n back were all delayed.

I was so tired tt i did not even realised that the plane had taken off from Dubai. When i woke up i was like asking my fren how come the plane so long still haven take off yet n she told me tt the plane took off long ago n it was a very rocky take off. Haha.

Anyway, our plane landed at 0110h instead of 0045h at Changi Airport n we took our own sweet time getting off the plane n taking some last minute photos b4 going to DFS to get some liquor. When we finally went out to get our luggage, it was 2 am and our luggages were all on the floor instead of the belt and our parents were all waiting for us impatiently. They must have been thinking where the hell were the 12 of us n wat was taking us so long. ;p ... Haha. Started sweating the second i exited the airport. The weather here is so so humid. Its going to take me some time to get use to this weather again. hope it rains so that the weather would not be so hot.

Gotta go to bed soon cos got tuition at 11am. Why the hell did i put it so early??? Dun even think tt i can fall aslp tonight. Die liao tmr.

My open book paper has ended. Looking forward to Disneyland tmr. Was doing the train reservation yest at the SNCF station n we had a hard time communicating with the staffs there. Luckily we meet a kind gentlemen who was able to speak english and he helped us with the translation. Turns out that he had been to Singapore n alot of other countries before and we (me, Sarah n Steph) spent bout 45 mins standing at the station chatting with him. The funny thing is that he lives in Grenoble and he'll be there when we reach Grenoble on the 21st. He offered to show us ard Grenoble when we reach n introduce us to his 3 very available sons. Haha.

Still trying to find the route from the train stations to our various hotels now. Having a big headache now. I shld be out in the town center shopping n enjoying the wonderful sun now instead of being stuck here in the com lab using the net. I'll be going back to my apartment soon for lunch then down to town to do some shopping. The shops here close so early at 7, so gotta hurry. Still haven packed my bags yet and i still wanna watch the World Cup tonight!!! It'll be a long long night for me and i still have to get up at 5am tmr morn!!! Arghhh!!!

Gotta continue with my directions searching le. It'll be more than 2 wks before i'll be blogging and tt'll be from back home in sunny Singapore. Yay!!!

Just finished my presentation on Spain and SEAT a car company. Seems that the prof quite happy with our presentation. Hopefully can get good grade for the presentation as its 50 per cent and the exam today i crapped alot. Tmr got another paper in the morn then we'll be free in the aftn ... Have to start packing my stuffs for travelling le ... Will have to leave the hostel at 7am in the morn on sat to go to CDG to put my luggage then head down to Disneyland le ...

Have to leave to go n catch the bus le ...

Exams are tmr and on fri and i also have a presentation tmr. Was suppose to go down to Paris to meet up with Clarice n her mom n bro but i just completed my ppt slides qnd i dun think will have time to rehearse tonight. Haven started studying yet but from wat the lecturers have been telling us it seems that the questions are mostly opinion based so shld be quite ok.

Have been catching some of the World Cup matches every night. One thing good here is that the matches are at the 3, 6 and 9pm here so we all dun have to stay up late into the night to catch the matches.

Thx to all my frens who have shown concern over my homesickness ... Haha ... I'm better now although still homesick but i'm looking forward to the travelling which helps things abit. Still got 19 more days till i'm back in Singapore.

Finally got a chance to blog after 3 wks.

I'm now in Compiègne about 40 mins train ride from Paris ... The 1st 2 weeks in Troyes was soo cold that i had to go out and buy 2 sweaters and now the weather here is like soo hot and they dun have air con in class!!!!! Also dun have wireless have to use the com in sch n the keyboard is diff from the one we r using ... ARGhhhh ...

The things here are quite cheap if u dun take into account the exchange rate ... Everytime we go to Monoprix or Intermarchè to buy groceries we always have to choose the cheapest stuffs n they seldom have instant stuffs so we always end up eating bagettes with cheese spread or croissant or 50 cents cornflake. I'm so sick of eating bread le ... I used to avoid chilli but now i really look forward to eating some spicy stuffs le ... I wanna eat roti prata, char kway teow, chicken rice, chilli crab ... Arghh ... there is so much local food tt i miss ...

I'm very very homesick now. When i called home yesterday n i cried n my mom laughed at me ... *sob* ... I regret extending my stay until the 2nd if not i could have been home this wkend ... *sob* ... but got no choice have to 'ren' for another 3 more wks if not i'll be wasting all the railpasses that i bought in Singapore before coming here ... *STUPID* ... Its not that i dun enjoy my stay here lah ... its jus tt this is the first time i've been away from home for soo long ... And now i have to do all the washing n cooking myself ... We cooked potato n onion soup n chicken curry n fried egg with onion yest for dinner n it was delicious ... Made me think of home again .. Arhh ... I'm going to cry again ...

Exams r on thurs n fri n there is also a presentation on thurs so its been a hectic 3 wks so far what with all the sourcing of info for the presentation n booking of accom for after the program ... Will be going to Disneyland, Paris, Grenoble, Venice, Rome n London ... Trying to look forward to it to reduce my homesickness ...

Have to stop here now ... May not have a chance to blog again and upload the photos until i return home cos all the photos are in my lappie n there's no wireless connection ... Sigh ... Gotta go back n eat canned ravioli in disgusting tomato sauce n precooked rice le ... How i miss the food in Singapore ... Esp my mom's n grandma's cooking ...

Casted my sacred vote for the first time this aftn. Haha. It wasn't as fun as i tot it would be. It was like show IC check IC get voting card then vote for the party i'm supporting then put it in the ballot box. It was over in less than 5 mins. Anyway my voting center was jus at the pavilion below my block so it was very convenient for me. Now i'm waiting for the votes to be counted so i'm updating my blog at the same time.

Was at sch yest to meet up and get to noe some of the gals who r going to France and also to make plans for after the programme. We have so many diff plans for diff groups that everything is abit messy now. But from what we've planned so far, we'll be going down to Sweden: Kiruna (can see the midnight sun); Italy: Venice, Rome (Trevi Fountain), Milan; London ... We're hoping to see as much as possible within the 2 wks most prob we may also be extending our stay for another 1 more wk. Wah ... got soo many plans ... Cant wait to leave for France ... 13 more days and counting down ....
