Casted my sacred vote for the first time this aftn. Haha. It wasn't as fun as i tot it would be. It was like show IC check IC get voting card then vote for the party i'm supporting then put it in the ballot box. It was over in less than 5 mins. Anyway my voting center was jus at the pavilion below my block so it was very convenient for me. Now i'm waiting for the votes to be counted so i'm updating my blog at the same time.

Was at sch yest to meet up and get to noe some of the gals who r going to France and also to make plans for after the programme. We have so many diff plans for diff groups that everything is abit messy now. But from what we've planned so far, we'll be going down to Sweden: Kiruna (can see the midnight sun); Italy: Venice, Rome (Trevi Fountain), Milan; London ... We're hoping to see as much as possible within the 2 wks most prob we may also be extending our stay for another 1 more wk. Wah ... got soo many plans ... Cant wait to leave for France ... 13 more days and counting down ....

YAY!!! Exams are finally over!!!!

Just got back from dinner at Marche and shopping. Metro got 20% off!!! Spent like $200 over on stuffs. My head's going to roll when the bill comes and my mom sees it :P

Well exams have come and gone. Got no confidence in any of the papers except for Mind Over Stress. All the other lecturers all chu pattern. MS3003 even worse ah. Choose 4 qns out of 4 qns when the previous sem was choose 4 out of 6 qns and he didn't even tell us that the format change. MS3001 expected to be the easiest but seems that one lecturer chu pattern all must follow. Dong's part suppose to be easy but the calculation come out all dunno wat is going on. Haiz.

Hopefully this sem dun ta bao any subject ah. Can pass can le ... No A's nvm.

I noe that some of my frens think that i have not put in any effort this sem. That i spend too much time teaching tuition and not studying. But actually is not that i dun wanna study. Is that i have my own time and method of studying. Normally after a paper i noe that i will not study when i reach home so i schedule a tuition lesson after the paper. Is not because i got money face ok. Is because when we are having exams their exams are starting too and i cannot jus leave them be and conc on my own exams right. As long as i noe that i got enough time to do my own revision can liao mah.

I noe that they are concerned bout me lah. But not everyone's studying method is the same mah. I for one cannot spend the whole day with a book in front of me n study lor ... unless its a novel lah.

K lah ... enough of complaining lah ... Finally can start serious planning for my France trip le ... Yay!!! So excited... Going down to STA to pay for the tix tmr then going shopping again ... Haha ... Gotta make up for the past 1 mth. Suffering from shopping withdrawal sydrome ah ... Haha ..

Oh My God!!! Its been like more then 4 months since i last updated my blog .. Haha ... Really sorry ... Act nothing much to write so i didn't really update ...

Life's been pretty boring since the beginning of the year. Been bz with projects, assignment, sch n tuition. Well its exam time again and after one year of being free from exams, my 1st paper starts this wed ... ARGH!!! The first paper is mind over stress where the course teaches wat is stress, causes of stress, how to deal with stress ... blah blah blah ... quite a fun course i must say but then how come its an examable module??? Isn't it suppose to teach us how to deal with stress n not give us more stress????

Sianz ... Totally got no mood to study ... My mind's been full of plans for the trip to France next month ... YES!!! I'm going to FRANCE!!! Yippee!!! The programme is 4 wks but i'll be extending my stay for prob 1 to 2 wks ... Cant wait for exams to end ... This is going to be the longest 3 wks in my life ... ARGH!!!

Oh yah ... received a call from my ex-student's mother. This is the P6 gal who attempted suicide last year cos she failed her maths prelims (thru no fault of hers or mine ... her sch set the paper so hard tt only 6 of them in her class passed) ... wah ... she really gave us such a scare then ... Anyway, her younger sis is taking her PSLE this year and both the younger sis n her mom wants me to teach ... Problem is i already have 2 students now and next year will be my final year and i'll have my FYP to do ... dunno whether can cope or not ... Anyway i promised her tt i'll think bout it and get back to her soon ... Really gotta think things thru ah .. Extra $$ or Extra time??? Which one do i wan??

I was just on the phone with Clarice and we were reminiscing bout our poly days when we first started getting close and the days when we met at the MOS Burger at Jubilee to share our sorrows, frustrations and joy. Or the times when we met at the S11 at AMK central for lunch or dinner. Really miss those days when we could jus meet up to console one another or jus to share happy moments at jus a call. Now she's all the way in UK although she'll be back in 8 mnths time. But tt is a long time.

IA will officially be ending on the 10th of Dec but i'll be extending till the 30th. Jus when i've got the momentum for working i'll have to go back to sch. I act prefer working to schooling. At least there are no exams. I'll really miss everyone at work and all the wonderful frens i've made there.

Spent a WONDERFUL day celebrating Shuiping's bday yest with my frens from 3M.

We 1st met for KTV at Partyworld at Orchard.

The members of GHHC minus Huiyu who had to work and Eric who had other commitments but he met us for dinner.

My gang from Level 2. Now we are left with only 3 coms.

After that we went for vegetarian dinner at Bugis. The food was yummy. Very like the real thing. After dinner we went to the Esplanade for Chocolate Fondue at Max Brenners Chocolate Bar n started crapping away. it was still quite early after we finished so we decided to walk down to One Fullerton to take photos with the Merlion. After which we walked back to the Esplanade and chatted till 2+ before going back home.

Clarice will be leaving for UK on 21st Sept at 2345h.

Time really flies. Its like she jus got back from UK not long ago n now she's flying back soon.

No more chatting on the phone. No more blading. No more meeting after work. No more shopping. No one to do or say things tt we least expect her to say n make us laugh. At least for the next yr.

I'll definitely miss her laughter n her companionship the most.

Eventhough there is the MSN n web cam, things will not be the same.

Made a wasted trip down to Clementi this aftn to have my eyebrows threaded. It was raining heavily n when i got there, i realised tt both stalls tt provide threading services were closed. Sian, dunno when then time to down again to have my eyebrows done. Its so messy now tt i cant even stand it. In the end, Teck n Shirley 'tan dio' cos they got a free ride down to ECP.

Met Richard, Clarice n Wenfeng there. Getting a parking space was quite easy cos it was still drizzling when we got there n there wasnt much ppl there. In the end, Clarice, Wenfeng, Richard my bro n me bladed while Teck n Shirley shared a double bike. All of them left me far far behind cos i was still learning to blade, except Richard who accompanied me througout. Thx Richard. really appreciate ur company n help when i fell down or go up slope. I think we covered quite abit of distance today starting from Mac to the other end of ECP heading towards the City n then back again n down to the hawker center n back. Wow .. tt was very far. But i'm starting to get the hang of blading. Next thing to learn is how to stop.

After blading we headed down to Geylang for beef hor fun n Sambal Dua TOW. Yum Yum. Dinner was fantastic n after tt we strolled along geylang abit n then went for dessert at some Gui Ling Gao shop. Then we headed home le. My bro was very disappointed tt we didnt get to catch Charlie n the Chocolate Factory cos i promised him tt i'll bring him to watch it aftre blading but cos it was quite late when we finished n the others all not interedted to watch so nv watch. Gotta find a day to bring him to go n watch le. If not he say i bluff him again.

Tmr is the start of a new wk le. Things haven been going quite tt smoothly at work. Went back to office last mon morn to find out tt Chun Wei's, Shuiping's n my folders in the public drive got deleted. Tt was 1.5 mnths of data n hard work. Lucky for me, i saved the powerpoint tt had all my charts n graphs on fri cos i wanted to go back to complete the editing but lazy me did not even touch it. So in the end i did not really have to redo alot of stuffs. But poor Shuiping had to redo 2 wks of work n tt's quite alot considering tt his workload is much heavier than ours. hopefully tmr morn when we go back our folders will stll be there. Anyway even if its not there i still have lots of backup. Some things tt happened over the last few wks have also been bothering me. Really hope tt things can settle down soon.

We were able to c part of the fireworks at midnight. Here's one of the clearer ones.

Woke up at 9 this morn for tuition. Tt's very early for me on a Sun. but no choice cos my student's mom wanted me to give her xtra lessons cos her CAs are comin. I think i'm abit crazy having 3 different gps of students. Although the $$ is good but its damn tiring man. Planning to give one up cos Nicole my colleage from 3M seems interested in teaching. Then i wont be so bz le ...

After tuition, brought my bro to meet Clarice n Wenfeng at East Coast for blading. This is the 3rd time i've blade n i think got quite a bit of improvement. Can blade for long dist le somemore can go up n down humps without any assistance or falling. But i had a bad fall on my bum jus now n now i have a very bad backache. Hope i didn't hurt any impt nerves or something.

Went down to orchard for dinner cos i wanted to c if i could get my pink brazil nike cap. N guess wat. I found it at the Womens Nike at Taka altough the BIRD at Shaw n Suntec have no stock. Yippee. Wore it straight after i paid for it n Clarice said tt this was the first time she has seen someone blade finish le then wear cap. After tt went to eat Rochor beancurd then came back le. going to get my mom to help me to massage my back le.

Genting/KL Trip

I've been back from my trip 4D/3N trip to Genting and KL since mon but have been bz with work n tuition so haven had time to post the photos. It had been a FUN and CRAZY 4 days with Shirley, Clarice and Wenfeng.

We met at Golden Mile at 6.30 on Friday morn n took the bus to the SecondLink where we changed onto the coach at the malaysian customs.

We stopped at Yong Peng for breakfast b4 continuing our journey to Genting.

Wenfeng was the designated photographer n bag carrier for the whole trip cause he was the only guy who went :p

We had to wait quite long before we could get our room keys so we started taking photos.

Clarice could practically hide behind Wenfeng.

After putting down our stuffs we went shopping n to find our lunch cum dinner. Okie, it was more like window shopping. Hee

Went back after tt to rest.

Went down to the Hainanese restaurant and then to Coffee Bean for supper and some late night coffee n more photo taking.

It was off to the Theme Parks on the second day. Both the outdoor n the indoor ones.

I made them ride on the merry go round with me.






We had to take the escalator to go to the Space Shot. But there was a really long queue .... So ...

... We continued taking photos ... Hee ...

We were starving after taking soo many photos so we went to Kenny Rogers for lunchie. And Clarice n me got to decide wat to order.

The food was great.

We decided not to go for any thrill rides after our heavy lunch so we went on the ride which took us round the indoor theme park.

Tt's our ticket to the Indoor n Outdoor theme parks for the whole day.

We had to queue for over an hour for the Space Shot ...

... When the weather started getting bad and we started getting worried tt we were not able to ride on the Space Shot ...

... But luckily they did not stop the ride ...

Poor Wenfeng had to sit alone on the other side. We all had jelly for legs when we got off the ride.

Next, it was off to the Corkscrew.

After tt we went shopping n i bought 2 tops from Cheetah then we went for dinner n then it was off to play the bumper cars n indoor rollercoaster where we had fun making funny faces everytime we went past the camera. We also caught the movie The Island there. It was very cheap. RM 15 each with a drink, popcorn n a snack included. It was like less than S$7. Really very worth it. But Clarice n Wenfeng fell aslp mid show. Wasted.

On Sun, we woke up bright n early for a buffet breakfast at the First World Cafe b4 heading down to KL.

We took the cable car down to change to the coach to KL.

Putra line at KL which is similar to our LRT.

First stop. Chinatown. There was lots of fake branded goods which looked very much like the real thing. But we didn't get anything except for a couple of watches for my bro n mom.

We walked all the way from Chinatown to Bukit Bintang. Sungei Wang there was highly recommended by frens n relatives.

We had lunch at a Hong Kong restaurant at Sungei Wang where Shirley felt a cockroach crawling over her feet. Her whole day was ruined becos of tt cockroach.

Took the KL Monorail back to KL Sentral where we had to catch the last bus up to Genting at 7pm. We could see the driver operating the monorail. So fascinating.

Went for dinner at the coffee shop at the base of Resort Hotel where they sold cheap n delicious chinese food then we went to the pub at First World Hotel for drinks.

We did some last minute shopping on the last day and i bought a Nike cap. Soo happy.

Stopped at Yong Peng again for some snacks n to take some pretty photos of the beautiful sunset.
