I hope you are all enjoying your CNY celebrations as much as I am. In fact, I am enjoying it so much that I have succumbed to the flu bug yet again! Too many late nights and feasting and too little water does that to you.
Today is 正月初七 which happens to be 人日。According to chinese customs, 人日 is the common birthday of all human beings.
Legend has it that the goddess 女媧 who created the world, created different animals on different days and humans were created on the 7th day. So remember to wish your fellow chinese compatriots 生日快乐！
