bUsy dAyS

Haven had a chance to blog the past few days cos was up early n back late. So here's a super long entry.

Went down to peiwen's place for tennis on fri but ended up playing table tennis with Meiying n Ben cos the sun was too hot. But Cindy, Yvonne (a fren of Cindy's) Chun Wei n Yt continued playing tennis. YT made 'lor mai kai' for us n it was very tasty n had a lot of ingredients but it was a bit soggy. Considering tt this was her 1st attempt it was not bad le. We played for a couple of hrs then we went down to J8's Pastamania for lunchie. I ordered the Aglio Olio but it was act quite oily cos it was stir fried in olive oil. I tried abit of Jinshun's Spinach Tortellini n it was act quite nice. Think i'll order tt on my next visit. After lunchie, we walked ard J8 for a while then we went back le. Waited for bus no 156 for quite long with Chun Wei. Will get Francis Lao Ba to help me write a complain letter. Haha.

Met Joyce for dinner at Suntec. Saw John waiting for his GF at City Hall MRT n then Lifeng, whom i've not met for more than 3 yrs le ba, at Suntec's U2. While we were having dinner at the foodcourt, saw Jos n Siew Lian. Also saw Huiling, my primary sch classmate n best friend too. I also saw a friend whom i got to noe on my recent dive trip with his family. Wah saw soo many ppl in jus a couple of hrs. Dunno why. After dinner we went to the book fair at the convention center but there was really nothing much to c so we went down to dbl O to meet Chun Wei n Joyce's fren, Boon Hwee. We managed to get in free cos Boon Hwee had an sms which allowed us to enter free b4 10. Haha, only spent $1 there for the locker fee cos got free drinks n then no need to pay cab fare cos Joyce got Jack to come down to drive us back. Clement also met us there after his dinner with his frens. Saw his Gf, Mary, for the first time wor. Quite pretty n sweet wor.

Got back home at bout 2+ then was woken up at 7 am cos gotta bring my granny for her medical checkup at Gleneagles. Doc said tt her kidneys were functioning quite well for someone her age who has diabeties for soo long. but her sugar level is quite high wor. Have to control wat she eats le. Really very worried bout her wor. I don wanna lose her so soon. After sending granny home we went for breakfast n then to pick up Wendy on our way to Metta School (my bro's studying there) for the Open House n Blood Drive. Only my dad, my sis n wendy donated blood cos i had a slight flu when i went for the checkup. The slight flu turned into a serious flu after the checkup. Think it was becos i did not rest enough ba. After the blood donation, we went down to Expo for the food fest. Got alot of nice food wor but wasn't very hungry cos of the stupid flu so nv really try the food. There was also a MPH sale at another hall n we went down there. THe books were really cheap wor but had to queue for quite long. But it was worth it lah.

After tt i sent my parents n wendy home n then it was down to teck's place for mahjong. We were supposed to meet at 4 but i reached at 5. Sorry guys. Anyway we played one round cos i couldn't last another round as my flu was getting worse. Well won bout $12. Not bad. Drove shirley out to the bus stop but turned out tt the bus stop dun have her bus. soo blur.

Joyce came down to my place on sun cos she was in the Seng Kang area. This was the first time she came to my place since i moved here 1 yr ago. She commented tt my rm was still as messy which is quite true. Haven got the mood to clear up my desk after exams. Starting to have trouble finding things le. Note to self : Have to start clearing desk soon.

Well, I gave her a lift down to bugis since i was meeting Fiona n gang there. We were supposed to meet at 3 but i reached at bout 4.30. Luckily i wasn't the last one to reach. Have to kick this habit of being late le. I used to be quite punctual one but after i few times of waiting for ppl i started following their example le. Met Lim Ting at the Dorothy Perkins store inside Seiyu. Haven seen her since we graduated from poly.

We shopped ard there for about 2 hrs b4 meeting Bang Tong at Geylang. Fiona had to leave earlier cos she had to work on mon. We had beef hor fun, seafood hor fun n frogs leg at lor 9. The seafood hor fun was not so nice but we ordered tt cos Vincent cannot eat beef but he can eat beef patties. Stupid excuse. After tt we walked down to dunno lor wat for durian n than walked back to lor 9 for taiwan beancurd. The cashier there was damn attitude lor. Got a lot of shillings so wanted to change with her but she say she got alot le then she turned away. WTF. As if i nv order things from u like tt. but the food quite nice lah so forget it lor.

As it was still early n Richard had to book in at Pasir Labar Camp (i think i spell wrongly) at 2359 h, we decided to drive down to Boon Lay area cos it was near his camp. Gave them a tour of NTU cos we didn't noe where to go. In the end we ended up at Boon Lay Market for drinks. But Vincent, aka Vinny not full yet so we ordered a plate of lala to share n teck order a durian ice kachang. Think i gained weight again after tt. Haiz. But it was worth it la. Cos the food was great.

After tt sent Richard back to camp n then the others to nearby bus stops then went home le. It's been a long time since i last pigged out like tt.

Stayed at home today to catch up on my slp. Going to meet Cindy tmr aftn at orchard MRT for lunch n then shopping n then meet the others for steamboat at Golden Mile Complex. Heard from Clarice tt the steamboat there is great. Act we were planning to go there b4 she went to UK but in the end nv go. But heard tt she went with Wenfeng in the end w/o asking us along. Hmmm.

Whew!! Jus checked my grades online n i made it although the grades where not very good but at least i passed. No need to 'da bao' any subjects. So next sem can concentrate on my IA le. Wah like a big load off my shoulders.

Yesterday's mahjong game was not bad. Won bout $8 in the first game cos ben still learning the game n he gif us tuition fee. haha. But the second game i lost $6. Think meiying's mom is ben's lucky star wor cos when she came back ben who haven won anything started winning wor. But overall i still won $2 so not bad lah. Think will be having another mahjong game this wkend at Teck's place but haven confirm yet.

My plans for today is to slp n watch tv. Caught the result for American Idol Live this morn. Carrie Underwood won wor. I think her voice quite powerful wor. Not bad. Also watched last night's Nip/Tuck. The show not bad but quite gross cos they show wat they did during surgery. Those who cannot stand blood shld stay away from the show wor. Gotta stop here. Going to fix my lunchie le.

My parents were on leave today so my dad woke me up at 9+ say wan to go out for lunchie at 11.30 call me to get ready. So i had to cut short my beauty slp. Tot i could slp until noon then wake up cos i really did not slp well on the trip as the boat was travelling from one destination to another at night n the engine was very noisy.

Went to toa payoh for lunchie n i ordered hokkien mee. Wah the noodle really cannot make it wor. So sticky. C le i also no appetite. In the end i only finished half a plate. After tt we went NTUC to buy stuffs then come home home for a nap le. Woke up at 6 for dinner then washed up n watch tv. Think i still haven got used to being on land wor. Can feel like the keyboard is rocking.

Been a really boring day today. Going to play mahjong at Meiying's (not my sis wor) place tmr. Gotta wake up early again.

LoOkiNg fOrwArD tO gEtTinG mY aDvaNcE diVeR LicEnsE

Got back from my dive trip last night where I had a very memorable n enjoyable time onboard 'My Seaborne'. It was a 3 days/ 3 nights live aboard diving trip and it was a great experience. Imagine staying on a boat for 3 whole days n nightz. I still haven got used to being on solid land yet.

We reached Mersing, which is about 2 hrs drive from JB at about 2am becos the bus driver was later n there was a huge human jam at the Malaysian customs where we were stuck for about 45 mins to 1 hr. We only reached JB n changed to a coach at bout 11.15pm n by the time everyone was accounted for it was 11.30pm. When we reached Mersing we had wait for a transfer to a small boat, which took us to 'My Seaborne'. It was during this waiting period tt i lost 2 Ramly burgers in a bet to Chin, a fellow Hainanese n a dive leader on this trip. Till now i haven given him his burger yet. Think I’ll owe him for a very very long time. By the time we boarded the boat, it was already close to 3am. We had a short briefing n then we went to find our cabin. There was an upper n lower deck n i took the upper deck leaving the lower deck to my sis n wendy. There was very little rm to move ard in the cabin n i had trouble sitting up on the upper deck. I think i hit my head more then 10 times on the whole trip including the knocks i had taken when i was on the deck.

The next morning we were woken up by Dave (another dive leader) at 7.30am. I think i slept not more than 3 hrs tt night. We had 3 dives at the Kuantan Wrecks tt day, which were World War 2 Japanese shipwrecks, n the 3 of us were led by Victor (aka ah gong) who was also our Open Water dive instructor. Our routine for the 3 days were eat, dive, eat, slp, dive. During our dives, we saw lots of interesting fishes n corals. We saw the gaint grouper, blue spotted ray, moray eel, lion fish, nurse shark (although we only saw the pic cos the previous gp released it b4 we had a chance to c it. We were the gp tt was supposed to release it.)

The 2nd day we dived at Tenggol Island. The 4 dives were all very disappointing dives as the current was very strong n the water was like very cold one moment n then warm another moment then a mixture of very cold n warm water. It was very confused waters but it was a great experience although it was a very disappointing dive at Tenggol. During the times in between dives, we played mahjong n big 2. We were operating a mini casino onboard the boat. Haha. Even the kids learned how to play mahjong. I also learned how to play 7 ppl big 2 where there was an 'asshole' n a 'shit'. The normal big 2 game also involved the loser with the most no of cards to dive into the water from the second deck or the sun deck which is the third n highest deck which are quite high. I think I jump down bout 3 or 4 times ba.

On the 3rd day, we had our last dive at Tioman (Tiger Reef). After tt it was lunch while we headed back to Mersing n then back to Singapore.

Overall i think this trip was very fun n memorable where the food was good, the instructors were very helpful n fun n i made a lot of new frens n also learned some new hainanese words. I'm really looking forward to my next dive trip (hopefully tt trip is when i'll be taking my Advanced Level Diver License.

I only put up some photos tt were taken from my cam. Got no underwater photos cos my cam canot go underwater. Will be posting some more photos when i receive them from the other divers.

Been quite lazy the past few days so haven been updating my bloggie.

Tues went for tennis at peiwen's place than it was shopping with Cindy n Chun Wei. Wed went down to Meiying's place for mahjong. Thurs stayed at home the whole day. Very boring wor.

I be embarking on a 3 day dive expedition to Kuantan Wreck/ Tenggol Island / Tioman Island tonight. Jus finished packing my bags n will be leaving for dinner soon with my parents n then will be meeting up with the dive instuctors at 8.30 at Krangi MRT n then we'll be driving down to Mersing in Malaysia where we'll be boarding a chartered boat ard midnight. Then it'll be 3 days of diving n we'll be calling the boat home for the next 3 days n nights. The itenary says that we'll be having 10 dives so hopefully when i come back i can get ready to go for my advanced diving course.

Will be updating my blog with lots of pics of my trip when i get back on mon. Have to go n bath n then gotta go out le. Adios

Coms been down for the last few days so got no entries.

Spent the whole of last night reformatting my com then slept at bout 4. Woke up at bout 12 to meet Meiying, Peiwen, Yinting, Ben, Clement, Sengkang n Ronald at Partyworld KTV at 2. As usual i was late but they were still having lunch so i went in 1st n started my concert 1st. Haha. Well had an enjoyable day today cos got to sing alot of songs. Haha. After tt we went home for dinner le.

Jus heard a great news from YT. But no convenient to say it hear ... Congrates YT. U've waited for this day for a long time le ... Soo happy for u ...

*bAcK 2 SP*

Went back to SP for badminton this morn. Was supposed to meet them at 10.30 at dover station but as usual i was late. Reached at 11.15 n went to our usual place to look for them but they were not there wor. So paiseh ... walked into the badminton court at FC 5 n then realised tt the gp of ppl playing were not them wor. Could feel them staring at me thinking wats this gal doing here?? In the end found them at the badminton court above FC 3.

Yinting, Cindy, Ben, Chun Wei, Ronald n Joe were there but Joe left w/o playing cos he had to rush to an interview. We played for quite long n i got hit between the eyes by a shuttlecock which Ronald hit. Tt was the 1st time i cried in front of sooo many ppl n i think Ronald felt quite guilty. *so paiseh* But luckily nv hit my eyes wor if not i dunno wat will happen. Well Yinting made 'dou hua' for us n it was quite good a bit like agar agar cos she added agar leaves. She will make someone a very gd wife wor.

I like partnering Chun Wei for doubles cos he's always the one running about n i can jus stand where i am w/o moving n wait for the shuttlecock to come. Hiaks. But poor him gotta run like mad. I'm act helping him to train up wor. Act i feel tt he n Cindy make a great team wor. But when we play we cannot have the 2 of them in a team lah. If not confirm lose one. The pic i put up not quite clear wor. But its the clearest i can take of them moving about.

After the game we went down to Bukit Timah Food Center for lunchie but it was quite late then so shld be called high tea ba. Blur me forgot to bring along my digicam so got no pics. Yinting did not join us cos she had to go down to CCK then rush home for dinner n then for her GE. I think the food there quite nice. I ordered the 'dou hua' n ben ben said that it was miles apart from wat YT made this morn wor. But this one cannot compare mah. YT is still in the experimenting stage n the one i bought have to be nice if not no one will buy mah. If got chance shld try it wor ... very silky smooth ... bit like the ones u get at the market for 40 cents.

Went home after tt n i think i fell aslp the min my head touched my pillow. Its been a long time since i played bad le ... think my whole body will be aching tmr. Still got a tennis game on sat. Wonder if i'll have the energy to play or not. Stupid Chun Wei call me to serve them water on tt day n no need to play wor ...

... ... ... They are going to use the money to try n get a baby by IVF cos they r unable to have them naturally. Joyce had her hair shaved of during one leg of the race wor ... The things ppl will do for 1 million bucks ...

I was almost late for my interview this aftn cos i missed the bus n the next one came 15 mins later. So i had to take a cab from Yishun. The cab fare wasn't too ex la bout $4.70 from yishun so still affordable better tt then being late rite. Luckily i made it on time. I would have made a very bad impression if i was late wor. The interview went fine la. My appt was at 2.30 but becos the previous gp took quite long (Chun Wei took 35 mins wor) n ate into our time so in the end started the interview at 3.10. But my interviewer was a diff person n he interviewed us 2 t a time so it was quite fast. I think got chance of getting the position ba. The interviewer told us tt we gotta do OT but is 5 day wk. I don mind doing OT cos 3M is a rather large company n is recognized so it'll be great if i can add it to my CV. Then next time graduate le find job better. Hiaks. Somemore got direct bus there so not so bad la ...

Forgot to call up the tuition agency today to reg. Gotta rmb tmr if not cannot tahan w/o job le. Sent out quite alot of resumes today but still got no reply ... I'm starting to wonder if i'll be able to get a job this hol ... Pray hard better find one soon.

Meeting Cindy, YT n gang to play badminton at SP tmr wor. Meeting at 10.30am ... I'll confirm be late. (Shh dun tell them) Been a few mths since i last played. Confirm whole body going to ache after the game tmr. YT said tt she'll be making 'Dou Hua' for us wor ... The last time it was liang cha and choc chip cookies. Wonder if we'll be able to enter SP cos the last time we went they had those electronic gates installed. But if cannot go in by Dover entrance still got T1A entrance. Hahaa ... They cant keep us out ...

Amazing Race is beginning soon le so i'll stop here n update later on who won the race. Watch this space ...

Met Chun Wei this morn to go down to NTUC Income to apply for temp jobs but turned out tt they are already maxed out n they have 100 over ppl on their waiting list. Well no choice so we jus filled in the form n hoped tt they will give us a call when they have a vacancy. After tt went down to Guan Im temple to pray n then headed down to Orchard MRT to meet Cindy, Yinting n Jiayan for lunchie. Had BEEF NOODLE at Scotts foodcourt (Clarice i noe u r craving for tt) n then YAMMI YOGHURT n ROTIBOY.

After tt we went down to Far East to do some shopping therapy. There were a lot of nice clothes tt i wanted to try but no guts to try. Gotta lose more weight first b4 i'll dare to wear those clothes. At Oxygen2, we bought almost the same shirts each but in diff colours, design n print. Really like the devil design. Show Chun Shin there again (b4 tt saw her at Dhoby Ghaut MRT) n found out tt she went to Recruit Express at Taka to reg for temp jobs so decided to head down there too.

At Recruit Express me n Chun Wei waited for bout 45 mins b4 they interviewed us. We were the 1st there n yet we had to wait soo long. Turned out tt Chun Wei have a fren workin there so we r going to send out resume to his fren c can get priority or not. Hiaks. Well after tt we met up with the gals n William n Clement at Coffee Bean. Jiayan waited until she had to go 1st cos she got GE.

Had dinner at SAKAE SUSHI at Heeren n we sat there for bout 2.5 hrs wor. Lucky nv kana chased out by the staffs. Haha.

Gotta prepare for tmr's interview le. Dunno wat they will ask wor. Hope everthing goes smoothly tmr ... ... ...

Jus received a call from NTU saying that i got a interview on wed at 3M Singapore for my IA. Turned out that they made a mistake n tt i was act shortlisted for the interview. Damn. Tot tt i no need to go for any interview le. Now have to start thinking of wat qns they're going to ask me. I rmb the last time i had an interview was during poly. It was a mock interview n i did really badly. Hope tt doesn't happen on wed.

Been sending out my resumes these past wk n have gone to job agencies to register but i haven got any reply soo far. Really need to get a job soon. Can't be slacking at home everyday. Anyone got lobangs??

It rained the whole morning n part of the aftn today. At least the weather not so hot le. But had to cancel a tennis game cos of the rain. I tot at last can learn to play le but it seems that have to wait until a later time.

Jus heard from Clarice that she'll be back on 25/6 instead of the 11th. Still got soo long b4 she comes back. Counting down the days till the 25th ... ... ... ... ... ...

frUstrAtiNg DaY!!!

Why is it so hard to plan an outing nowadays?? We were supposed to catch Coach Carter but Shirley n He'an wanted to watch House of Wax n i nv liked to watch horror movies. Then Teck Soon called and said tt he wanted to slp and the weather was too hot so he did not want to come out so in the end we nv watch either show so we decided to go for dinner then i asked Teck want to go for dinner or not then he told me tt he got plans le. Call him go out he dun wan but other ppl call him go out he go. This is the second time he fly our plane le. Soo angry.

In the end we ended up at Billy Bombers for dinner. Had to wait for 40 mins b4 got table wor. Shared a cod fish n fries with Shirley but they dun have cod fish so they replace with dory fish. Soo big difference. The original cod fish was much nicer. Hean ordered a surf n turf n he wanted his steak MEDIUM RARE!! Turned out to be very raw on the inside. Fiona's Kamikaze Chicken Burger was the best i think. But the portions all very big wor. We also ordered cheese fries n milk shakes. Yum Yum!! I ordered a lemon shake n Shirley ordered a cookies n cream shake. In the end we couldn't finish the fries wor. But i really love the lemon shake.

After tt we walked ard Heeren but most of the shops were closing le so we decided to go hm ... n then we met Vincent n his 'girlfriend' at the entrance. The gal quite pretty wor.
